The legal atmosphere clouding the video game industry lately only seems to be getting thicker. Lawyers and Settlements.com has invited its readers to join a class action suit against Rockstar over the Hot Coffee scandal.
“If you feel this improper rating has negatively effected your our your child’s well being, you may qualify for damages or remedies that may be awarded in a possible lawsuit,” the site reads.
We don’t believe that this invitation to sue Rockstar will actually go anywhere, but it seems that the pressure is not going to be off video game companies for the increasingly violent content of their games until they start regulating themselves better. We will keep you posted!
