Jim Merrick, Nintendo’s European Director of Marketing, spoke to Spanish gaming website MeriStation about the Revolution. We recently reported that Nintendo was planning a simultaneous global launch according to comments by Satoru Iwata, President of Nintendo.
“What we can guarantee is that the Revolution will be sent in the same four-month period anywhere in the world,” Merrick corrected. Our guess is that Japan will be the first to see the Revolution considering their loyal fan base.
Merrick also commented that gamers will not get to see the Revolution in action until the games are fully functioning. Since Nintendo focuses on games being fun rather than graphically superior, they will not show the games until they are ready to play.
