If HD-DVD becomes available as an add-on for the Xbox 360, it will be available for watching movies but not for playing games. Yoshihiro Maruyama of Microsoft Japan has stated that there is a possibility for an HD-DVD add-on, “but it won’t have any relationship to gaming.”
