Diehard World of Warcraft fans will be ecstatic to hear Blizzard has released some new information about the 1.9 patch.
The patch will be WoW’s first ever world event. Both Horde and Alliance will have to come together for this one-time event. The gates of Silithus, located at the Scarab Wall in the southern half of the region, will be opened! After the gates open, players will find themselves in a new area named Ahn’Qiraj. The region is inhabited by enslaved Silithid bugs from the continent of Kalimdor.
The Ruins of Ahn’Qiraj will allow twenty man raid groups to fight. The finale is a horrendous-looking blue boss.
The more difficult Temple of Ahn’Qiraj will feature a forty man raid. Skeram, a prophet, will greet you at the door of the temple and you must work your way through Anubisath mobs. A battle with Vek’nilash and Vek’lor, the Twin Emperors of Ahn’Qiraj, ensues. Blizzard describes the Temple as slightly harder than Molton Core.
