Voice Talent of King Kong Video Game Announced

None

Again proving that video games are moving more into the mainstream, Ubisoft has announced that Peter Jackson’s King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie will feature the voice talents of Naomi Watts, Jack Black, and Adrien Brody. Watts and Black will both contribute likeness and voice work to the game, but Brody will contribute only his voice. Other cast members including Jamie Bell, Colin Hanks, Thomas Kretschmann, Evan Parke, and Andy Serkis will also contribute their voice talents.

“We want the movie and the video game to be a shared experience, so having the voices and likenesses of the actors is very important,” commented Peter Jackson. “Another great aspect of the collaboration is the absolute enthusiasm that the cast has shown for the game. Jack Black loves seeing himself running around the jungles of Skull Island and it’s fun watching him actually play the game.”

The game will be out later this month and the movie will be in theaters on December 14.
