The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced that thirty-one percent of Americans will give or receive a video game this holiday season. Twenty-two percent of households without children will give games as a gift. Forty-nine percent of homes with children ages twelve to seventeen will give a game as a gift and forty-three percent of homes with children under twelve will do so. Thirty-five percent of adult men will receive a game as a gift. Interestingly, thirty-five percent of girls or women will also receive a game as a gift.
