The Postal franchise created by developer Running With Scissors is one of the most controversial games of all time. The game has been banned in thirteen countries for its over-the-top violence and gore.
Restrictions will not stop the developer from trying to bring the game to every country. Running With Scissors and Softwrap plan to use digital distribution to offer a PC version of Postal online.
“Governments, customs agents, or other traditional barriers to going Postal will become irrelevant as the Softwrap system sidesteps distributors, retailers, and other would-be gate keepers to deliver the game anywhere and everywhere. The game will be offered for $10. Postal 2 and an add-on module will be retailed at $19.95.
