Pernell Harris, the owner of Virtual Jam, is suing Electronic Arts. He claims that content he created for his own video game was stolen and used in Madden 2006. He is now seeking damages, attorney’s fees, and restitution for EA’s breach of an implied contract.
Harris claims he met with EA representatives in 2003 to discuss a football game he was developing and features he mentioned in the meeting have been incorporated into Madden 2006.
“We have read the complaint and the allegations are completely without merit,” EA commented.
