Video Games Blamed for Threatening Flyers at High School

None

Are video games the root of all evil? Some seem to think so. Video games are being blamed for trouble brewing at a high school in Tallahassee, Florida.

The Tallahassee Democrat is reporting that flyers have been discovered around the school that portray a drawing of three men pointing guns at a group of people from the bed of a truck. In addition to the image are the words “BE PREPARED” and a handwritten note that reads “demonoid.com #243751.”

Demonoid.com is a BitTorrent file-sharing site. The number is the PDF of The Zombie Survival Guide, a parody by Max Brooks, a writer for Saturday Night Live, where Brooks prepares humans for their eventual fight with zombies.

We are not sure how this relates to video games, but the newspaper is reporting that “Zombie is a video game.” Although there are plenty of video games that involve zombies, we aren’t sure of one specifically called Zombie.
