Nintendo has confirmed that it will ship Tetris DS for the Nintendo DS on March 20. The game will feature the same habit-forming falling blocks as the original, but will also offer new features.
The game will support Nintendo’s Wi-Fi Connection. One game card will allow up to ten people to play at the same time in local network mode. As many as four players can play together in online mode.
Each of the six modes will have a theme based on a classic Nintendo game like Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, or Metroid. Some modes will give games special puzzles to solve while others will features action between as few as two and as many as ten players.
The touch screen will also add an element of interactivity
