Dave Mathews, lead art director at Monolith, stated that Project Origin, the sequel to the acclaimed F.E.A.R., will be delayed until the first quarter of 2009. The title will see a multi-platform release at that time including PC, 360, and PS3.
This comes as a major surprise to us because the game was incredibly polished and quite complete during our demonstration at E3 2008. We’re not sure what the holdup could be except for the fact that the crew wants to make a simultaneous multi-platform release. Perhaps the PC or PS3 version needs a bit more work, as only the 360 version was on display for us in Los Angeles.
