EA Bringing the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa to Gamers Everywhere

FIFA 2010 was perhaps the best sports game of 2009.  Soon, you’ll be able to extend the game with EA SPORTS 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa.

As the only officially licensed game of the World Cup, players will be able to play as any of the 199 FIFA Qualifying participating nations, have access to all 10 of the official stadiums in South Africa, and can setup an authentic 32-team World Cup tourney.

Release date and pricing are still unannounced.  Hopefully, we’ll see a substantial discount (i.e. $39.99; not a chance, try $49.99 at best), but expect the game to release before the festivities begin in June.
