3DS to Have Game Install Feature?

According to a Nihon Keizai Shimbun article, as reported on by IGN's Anoop Gantayat, the Nintendo 3DS could be packing an important feature that was never touched on at E3.

Apparently, if the Japanese financial publication is to be believed, 3DS owners will be able to install multiple games to their hardware, allowing players to travel without having to worry about bringing along their favorite carts.

Certainly this is an innovation we've been dreaming of for years now.  However, a big problem rears its head.  Namely, piracy.

While Sony's download to install via PSN is one solution, they were never able to come up with a strategy for installing games directly from UMD.  Something tells us Nintendo hasn't figured it out either.

Odds are that game installation to 3DS simply refers to the ability to purchase games through a service similar to DSiWare.  That being said, Gantayat insists that the original article states that this is a new feature of the 3DS hardware, so that an install feature could in fact be in the cards.
