Naughty Dog has confirmed The Last of Us will not feature a co-op mode for its campaign.
Despite being a natural fit for the title’s single-player, with the game boasting two lead characters, The Last of Us will have no emphasis on offline multiplayer gameplay, creative director Neil Druckmann stressed to Gaming Examiner. "We're not ready to talk about the details of how multiplayer will be implemented, however we can say that it is not co-op within the main campaign."
Druckmann did, however, confirm the already-outed online multiplayer component for The Last of Us. The game itself launches during 2013. By Zak Islam |
