Nintendo has confirmed the specific Western release dates for Pokémon Black and White 2, as the games will launch on October 7 in the US, and October 12 in Europe. The games will be available for all DS systems, and will only feature 2D compatibility with the 3DS.
As we reported last week, Nintendo will also release Pokémon Dream Shop, an augmented reality tool which allows players to catch and transfer particular Pokémon into their games using the 3DS’ camera and motion controls, alongside the titles at launch.
The twin Pokémon games are selling like hotcakes over in Nintendo’s native country of Japan, as over 1.5 million copies of the titles have shipped over there since their launch last week.
