The Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken is going to follow in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s footsteps by being a far more complete version than the console release.
It will come with a host of new features, most of which are accessible on the Vita only. For example, you can now share your customized character designs so that others may download them. A brand new trailer showed a gamer uploading these to a location on a map. It would be cool if you were able to pick these up simply by going to a real-world location with your Vita.
The trailer also showed the new gallery mode, which allows you to collect art, music, and other assets as you play the game, as well as the AR photo mode, which lets you take pictures with your favorite Street Fighter characters. All of this is on top of a number of mobile features such as Ad Hoc wireless play and replay sharing. Oh, and don’t forget that the Vita version of the game will come with all the on-disc DLC of the original release already unlocked.
Be on the lookout for Street Fighter X Tekken Vita when it releases on October 23rd.
