A sequel to first-person action platformer Mirror’s Edge is “on the list” of things for publisher Electronic Arts to do, according to EA Labels president Frank Gibeau.
"We have nothing to announce," Gibeau tells Game Informer. "We love [Mirror’s Edge protagonist] Faith. We love the property. It's really about how and when do you bring it back?
“It's on the list. It's just about looking at what teams are available, who's got the right quality approach to it, and who understands it."
Since its 2008 release, the DICE-developed Mirror’s Edge has seen no shortage of clamoring from fans eager for a follow-up. While this is not nearly the first time EA has hinted that a Mirror’s Edge 2 could one day be in the works, it should serve as a reminder to those who wish to spend time with Faith once more that all hope is not yet lost.
