Ubisoft has recently announced that a new novel set in the Assassin’s Creed Universe, Assassin’s Creed: Forsaken, will be released in December.
The novel, written by Oliver Bowden, will focus on Connor’s story and how he came to be the assassin that he is in AC3. You’d think that AC3 would tell Connor’s backstory, but maybe it’s just too focused on letting the player participate in epic naval battles. 
Assassin’s Creed: Forsaken will retail for $9.99. It probably won’t sell anywhere near as well as the game itself will, but considering the AC novel sales have averaged around 380,000 copies, there’s certainly a devoted fan base that will love to read about Connor’s backstory.
