Minecraft Pocket Edition Available On Kindle Fire

Are you so addicted to Minecraft that you absolutely have to play it on every electronic device that you own? Well, you’re in luck. Minecraft Pocket Edition is now available on the Amazon Appstore, which means that you can download it for your Kindle Fire. The game retails for the low price of seven dollars, the same price it runs for on iOS and Android.

Minecraft Pocket Edition has been hacked onto a Kindle Fire before, most notably by rooting the device and installing a droid OS on it, but now you don’t have to go through all that nasty hacking and piracy stuff. That being said, there’s no appreciable difference between other portable versions of Minecraft and the Amazon Appstore version. Note, that this version is not nearly as expanded as the PC version or even the console version, but the touch controls work well enough.

So put down those—what do you call them? Books?—and pick up a pickaxe on your Kindle Fire.
