Bill Murray, voice of Captain Price in the Modern Warfare series, has recently let the cat out of the bag on Modern Warfare 4. He told This Is Xbox that he will be picking up his role as Captain Price soon enough.
“Yeah, on Monday I am off to meet Infinity Ward about the next game, Modern Warfare 4. I’m doing work on the sequel to Modern Warfare 3, it carries straight on, and I only ever appear in the Modern Warfare games,” Murray said.
Obviously Activision and Infinity Ward haven’t confirmed Modern Warfare 4’s release yet, being that Black Ops II hasn’t even hit the market. However, it should come as no surprise that Infinity Ward is already working on a sequel to the Modern Warfare series. However, Murray’s comment that the game “carries straight on” is rather interesting. Perhaps this means that Modern Warfare 4’s plot will continue exactly where Modern Warfare 3 left off?
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is slated for worldwide release on November 13th, with a Wii U version following as a launch title on November 18th. We will bring you more information about the supposed Modern Warfare 4 project when it becomes available.
