Chock-full of whacky, nerd culture references, Retro City Rampage wears its geek cred proudly on its sleeve. Up until now, however, the experience has been limited to the PlayStation family of systems and the PC. Unless you had a PlayStation 3, a qualified PC, or a Vita, you were out of luck.
That changes today, as Retro City Rampage has now launched on the Xbox Live Arcade. The price? 800 MSP, equivalent to the $10 the game currently runs on the PlayStation Network.
That said, those in the Sony fold are perhaps getting the better end of the stick. The game is currently part of the PlayStation Plus instant game collection, meaning that subscribers can download and play it free of charge. I downloaded it just last night, and my Vita has been beeping and booping ever since.
