Dragon’s Crown, a 2.5D JRPG set to debut on the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on August 6th (for North American gamers), has already shown us a colorful and comically exaggerated cast of Adonis-like male warriors and generously endowed female warriors. However, the character trend has changed slightly with the reveal of the newest addition to the sprite party: the Explosive Wizard.
Aptly named, the Explosive Wizard is showcased in a short trailer causing all manner of mayhem. Though staying true to the 2d, party-based style of the game, we’re already looking at AoE attacks that affect multiple “lanes” of creatures simultaneously, as well as some possible summoning spells.
The new wizard is a striking contrast to the voluptuous magic user we’ve already seen, and looks to add a more offensive variant of a mage to the game.
