After initially being announced for the PC, back when it was still known simply as Metal Gear Rising, Raiden’s first totally solo outing in the Metal Gear universe was reworked by Platinum Games as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, with a PC version of the game notably lacking.
Kojima is looking to change that.
He reported, on Hideradio via his blog, that a PC port of the game is now in the works, with upgraded visual fidelity to take advantage of the potential present in powerful gaming PCs. Even though there is no word on a specific release date, it should be fairly soon; Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance as a game is already done, and porting from the Xbox 360 to the PC isn’t a tremendous stretch.
Should be exciting, as long as we don’t end up with another Dark Souls fiasco.
