It's 2013, and Pac-Man Gets DLC
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX
There's something to be said about the longevity of classic games. Much of my gaming time is split between current-gen awesomeness and those old, feel good titles from my youth. Obviously, I'm not in the minority here, as a game like Pac-Man, which is over 30 years old, are still be revamped and re-released long after the artwork has started to fade on the original marquees.

There is clearly still a demand. A fact that was, once again, proven this week by news that the Pac-Man Championship Edition that was released in 2010 (also the title that took down famed gamer Billy Mitchel by the way) would be getting an update featuring new skins, music, and additional stages. Originally, Xbox Live users were getting all the nostalgic love, but now, the title can be found on the PSN and is also available for Windows.
Don't forget one of the best things about classic arcade gaming was the high-score boards. The importance of this was brought back to the forefront with films like The King of Kong and Chasing Ghosts, so the update’s support for leader boards could be one of the best features about the game. How many hours will be spent by those wanting to see their names at the very top? I'm not sure my thumbs can handle that kind of intensity. Can yours?
