When Blizzard originally announced the new Diablo III expansion, Reaper of Souls, it was only able to confirm a PC release. Now, an official post on the U.S. PlayStation Blog is confirming that the expansion will be coming out to PS4 consoles. The word is still out on the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 version however.
Blizzard was also happy to announce that the PlayStation 4 version of the expansion will be playable at BlizzCon this year. Convention attendees will be able to try out the game’s new class, the Crusader, and wander through the new expansion locations, like such as the haunted city of Westmarch.
The PlayStation 4 version will come with several console exclusive “social features.” It will also include a reworked control scheme that makes use of the DualShock 4’s touch pad.
We will bring you more information on the release of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls as it becomes available.
