If you have ever even had chance contact with the very concept of anime, you probably know about Naruto, a series that has been going on so long and has captured the attention of so many fighting anime fanatics that it makes Dragon Ball Z blush (Dragon Ball Z is also getting a new game). You’ve probably heard of the Naruto fighting games before, but now the Naruto IP is spreading out into other video game genres, specifically MMOs.
According to a press release, a new Naruto-inspired MMO is going into beta. Developed by IceGames C. LTD, Naruto Saga will be free to play and will use the Games.la online gaming platform. The game will separate characters into three different classes: Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu users. Each one has their own unique skills, with Ninjutsu users focusing on DPS, Taijutsu users focusing on blocking and tanking, and Genjutsu users focusing on speed and dodging. The three interact with each other in a rock-paper-scissors style which interacts well with the game’s team-focused combat system. The game will also include dynamic updated quests, animal summoning, quick-time events, player-versus-player arenas, and much more.
The Naruto Saga beta will launch today at 9:00 PM GMT. You can go to the game’s official website to download the beta client.
