It’s time to lock and load, as we get a more in-depth look at exactly what the Call of Duty: Ghosts perks will mean for fans.
The official Call of Duty site posted a breakdown of exactly what perks are available, with a brief description of each. First, they give details on exactly how to unlock certain perks: “Perks are unlocked in one of two ways. Each Perk is marked with a level and a Squad Point cost. Once you reach the listed level, the Perk is automatically unlocked for use. If you’d rather unlock a Perk early, you can also choose to spend the listed amount of Squad Points for immediate access. Can’t wait to unlock Blast Shield for your Domination matches? Pay the listed Squad Points ahead of time and it’s yours to use.”
The unlocks have always been a staple of the CoD franchise and recently have become one of the most valuable assets to leveling up and customizing your soldier. Any fan of the series knows just how important it is to gain the precious XP you need, just to unlock that one extra perk (like faster strafe capabilities or longer run distances). Depending on your play style, having just the right load out can mean the difference between victory and defeat.
Perks include Awareness, Resistance, Focus (among many other options familiar to CoD fans) not to mention Elite, which will give you special abilities.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on November 15th.
