Namco Bandai is delaying many of their free to play games this year. Recently, Soulcalibur: Lost Swords was pushed back from its December 2013 release date to a vague 2014 release date. Now, Ace Combat Infinity, Namco Bandai’s free to play flight sim, will be joining it. Once again no concrete date for Ace Combat Infinity was given.
Namco Bandai has said that they will be using the extra development time to increase the quality of Ace Combat Infinity. Open betas for the game have been running since November, the latest ending on December 18th, so it’s possible that some pretty egregious errors or glitches were found, causing the game to be delayed.
