Yesterday afternoon, Undead Labs Community Manager Sanya Weathers confirmed on their website that the next State of Decay expansion pack will be titled Lifeline and is expected to hit both the Xbox 360 and PC later this year. She added that elements of the expansion are currently going through an internal playtesting process and no features can be confirmed at this time. She concluded the blog post by revealing that fans can expect a new map as part of this expansion pack.
State of Decay is the wildly popular open world zombie-survival horror title that launched on the Xbox 360 last June. This game sold a whopping 250,000 copies in the first 48 hours of its release on Xbox Live Arcade.
Hearing news about this new expansion pack definitely is exciting and leaves me wondering about the future of the series. While Microsoft hasn’t confirmed that the game is coming to the Xbox One, my best guess is that eventually it will.
Have any of you had a chance to play State of Decay yet? If so, please feel free to let me know what your thoughts on the game in the comments section below.
