Halo: The Master Chief Collection Includes New Skulls, Forge Mode and More
E3

In a discussion with GameSpot during this year’s E3 on Tuesday, June 10, 343 Industries revealed additional content that’ll come included with the recently revealed Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

According to GameSpot, The Master Chief Collection will feature the series’ creative mode Forge, and you’ll also be able to save your own gameplay footage as well. The only caveat is that these two features will only exist where they have existed before, meaning that they won’t be included in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary or Halo 2 Anniversary.

The only exception to this is that six remixed multiplayer maps for Halo 2 Anniversary will be allowed to be used in Forge, as the game’s original multiplayer designer is personally designing these six maps.

343 Industries will also be continuing its support for Halo Waypoint, but further details on that matter are said to be revealed at this year’s Gamescom in August.

Finally, The Master Chief Collection will include a range of brand-new skulls for you to use to test your abilities. Details on these skulls have yet to be revealed, but 343i did note that there are now 30 skulls in total.

To top it off, each game is said to be rendered in 1080p and will run at 60 frames per second. The Master Chief Collection is slated to release on Tuesday, November 11 this year--just about exactly 10 years since the original Halo 2 initially launched--exclusively for Xbox One.

Be sure to check out the collection’s announcement trailer via the embedded video below (which also teases characters that may appear in Halo 5--one of which will be a familiar sight). Stay tuned for more E3 coverage throughout this week.
