As detailed in a press release published on Thursday, August 7, Crytek has officially confirmed that the previously Xbox One exclusive Ryse: Son of Rome will be coming to PC this Fall, which’ll ship with all DLC packages and 4K support.
Crytek will be releasing the PC version of Ryse: Son of Rome through digital channels, and the studio will be collaborating with Deep Silver in order to bring boxed copies to retail stores.
“We are bringing the Ryse experience to PC, with 4K resolution support. 4K gaming is another leap in graphics quality for PC gamers and Ryse is the perfect showcase for what’s now possible in high-end PC games,” said Crytek’s director of business development Carl Jones.
“We’ve given our team the opportunity to show what CRYENGINE can really achieve, without compromising quality, thanks to the incredible hardware available now to PC gamers. Ryse will be a benchmark PC graphics showcase this year and probably for a long time in future. Our community asked for a Ryse PC version, and we have the means and technology to deliver this title with the highest quality possible,” Jones added.
As mentioned above, the PC version of Ryse: Son of Rome will ship with bonus content that was originally released as DLC for the Xbox One version. These DLC packs include the following list detailed below.
The Colosseum Pack: contains two character skins and two Arena maps.
Mars’ Chosen Pack: contains one new character skin, four Arena maps and the new Survival Mode.
Duel of Fates Pack: contains two character skins, two Arena maps and one additional Survival map.

Finally, PC players will also have instant access to the Ruins multiplayer map as well as the “Legionnaire's Trust” sword, which was initially released as part of a special edition of the Ryse: Son of Rome.
