Hillary Clinton Has Something to Say About GTA:SA Sex

None

It just keeps getting stranger. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) has put her two-cents in about the GTA:SA Hot Coffee scandal.

Senator Clinton has called for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to begin an immediate investigation into GTA:SA to determine the source of the sexually-explicit Hot Coffee mod of the game. She is encouraging reform of the ratings system and also wants to introduce legislation to enforce video game ratings and prohibit the sale of violent or sexually explicit games to minors. The fine for violating the law would be $5,000.

Clinton wrote a letter to the FTC encouraging their investigation and cooperation with her new legislation. She quoted the following statistics in the letter:

“According to research conducted by the National Institute on Media and the Family, M games are relatively easy for teenagers and even children as young as 7 to obtain. In the National Institute’s recent study, 50% of boys between the ages of 7 and 14 successfully purchased M-rated video games. Furthermore, only 76% of retailers in the study said they understand the ratings they are supposed to enforce. And only half of the stores train employees in the use of the ratings. The National Institute has determined that 87% of boys play M-rated games and 78% list an M-rated game among their favorites. ”

The ESRB and the Australian government are already conducting an investigation into the Hot Coffee mod.

Does anyone else think it is strange that Hillary Clinton has more to say on animated sexual content on the internet than she did on her husband’s real sexual content in his office?
