Sony has announced more info about the SpyToy, software that works in conjunction with the EyeToy. With the SpyToy, the EyeToy will be able to recognize up to ten faces. It will be able to edit material and send messages to friends with video messaging using memory card and editing capabilities. You will be able to flash a warning message on the screen if someone is trespassing in your space or silently record them.
In addition to this security mode, the SpyToy will also have a gaming mode that allows you to track criminals in a spy network (with the same waving and jumping motions that we have seen previously which are fun to play, but more fun to watch someone else to play).
