It seems that Nintendo no longer has exclusivity for the Resident Evil series. Or wait, it seems Nintendo no longer has the Resident Evil series. Sorry Nintendo fans, but Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil 5 will only be released for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 in 2006.
The game is going to take place in sunlit urban environment rather than the usual murky interiors that define the Resident Evil series. The over-the-shoulder view that RE4 took will continue in the RE5.
And screenshots seem to offer a look-alike to Chris Redfield which suggests that he may return as the main character.
