EA has announced that it has acquired Hypnotix, the studio that is behind the Outlaw sports games. The Outlaw series includes Outlaw Golf, Outlaw Volleyball, and Outlaw Tennis. The studio will be leading production for EA’s Arena Football League-based game. The AFL license was acquired by EA in January.
In addition to acquiring the company, EA offered them to move to Orlando, Florida, where EA’s Tiburon Studios is located. All but five of the forty team members accepted the relocation.
