Midway Games has announced that they have cast Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile, Sin City, The Island) and Rachel Griffiths (Six Feet Under, Blow) to star in The Suffering: Ties That Bind.
The game is set in Baltimore as the gamer again plays as Torque who is seeking revenge against the evil Blackmore (Duncan) who is tied to the death of Torque’s family. Griffiths voices Jordan, the leader of The Foundation, who is fascinated with Torque and becomes his ally during the course of the game.
“The recognizable names and voices of Michael Clarke Duncan and Rachel Griffiths add to the cinematic and visceral elements that are the hallmarks of The Suffering franchise,” said Steve Allison, chief marketing officer of Midway. “Their voices and characters play a key role in guiding the game’s hero, Torque, through an edge-of-the-seat American-style horror experience in The Suffering: Ties That Bind.”
