Rumors that Nintendo planned to release a new Pokemon title with the Japanese release of the next Pokemon movie set to open next year are not only true, but better than we thought. Nintendo is planning to release three new Pokemon titles for the DS and GBA.

The first title is called Pokemon Ranger: The Road to Diamond and Pearl. The game is set in the world of the upcoming Pokemon Ranger movie. The RPG allows you to play as a Pokemon Ranger. You travel the land and defend nature from evildoers. The game is set to release on the DS in Japan in 2006.

The second game is a puzzle game also for the DS. Pokemon Torouze uses the dual screens to display a game board that shows Pokemon face pieces. Using the touch pen, you must line up four pieces vertically or horizontally. Afterwards, the pieces will disappear. Included with the puzzle games is an adventure mode. The gamer will play as Lucy Lightfoot as she saves her friends from more evildoers. The game is set to release in Japan on October 20, 2005.

Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon will be availabe for both the GBA and DS. Blue Rescue Force will be available for the DS and Red Rescue Force will be headed to the GBA. The Mysterious Dungeon series has been a long-running series of games in Japan already. The games are expected to release this winter.

No release date for the US is known for any of these titles.
