It has been announced via press release that the Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD re-releases, which made their way onto the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, will also be heading on over to the PlayStation 4 in the future, with console-exclusive features to boot.
This was confirmed during the PlayStation China press conference that was held in Shanghai on Thursday, December 11 by the games’ publisher, Square Enix.
Both Final Fantasy X HD and Final Fantasy X-2 HD are currently scheduled to release in Spring, 2015, and will also be available as a digital download and as a boxed copy. At this time, the Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD re-release will sell as a combined product–both games in the one package–for $49.99, or your regional equivalent.
Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD released in Western markets back in March this year, and is already available for the PlayStation 4’s predecessor and its handheld counterpart. We’ll bring you more news on the game should further information reach our ears.
