World of Warcraft’s Battle for Azeroth Enters Its Beta Phase

World of Warcraft ‘s newest expansion, Battle for Azeroth, has moved from alpha into beta testing today. Keys have already gone out to a plethora of players interested in beta testing, and even more keys will be sent out at a later date. All characters from the alpha test have been wiped in preparation for this beta. However, Blizzard announced that there are no further character wipes planned during the beta test.

World of Warcraft ‘s Battle for Azeroth brings the character level cap up to 120. Beta forums have been opened for fans to point out bugs to the developers and talk about things they like or dislike. There is a Q&A happening April 26, 2018 on the Warcraft Twitch account. Character copy will also be turned on in the next few weeks.

So what are you waiting for? Go see if you got a beta key in the first wave. If you haven’t signed up to be included in beta lists or just want to double-check that you are, head to your BattleNet account settings. When you click on games and codes, there will be a beta profile settings options. This is where you can choose between a handful of Blizzard games, including World of Warcraft , to be included in the relevant beta tests.
