The comet has finally landed, and the world of Fortnite has changed quite a bit. After landing in the middle of the map and causing all kinds of destruction and side effects, season 4 of Fortnite has officially kicked off.
The comet touched down on Dusty Depot, rather than Tilted Towers where everyone expected. The area is now Dusty Divot, which is full of construction equipment, altered gravity physics, and of course, the indestructible comet. In addition to the big Divot, several other craters have appeared across the map in Battle Royale mode. Another new location, Risky Reels, has appeared on the map as well.
Changes have also come to the Save the World half of Fortnite . A new questline, “Blockbuster! Part1” has been added. In the story of the quest line, Ray goes missing, the players have to investigate that and the comet, and superheroes are involved.
Along with the new map and quests, a variety of tweaks and balance updates have been applied, and the usual new set of objectives have been added as per usual with a new season.
