Check Out the Taiko no Tatsujin PS4 and Switch Songs

Recently, Bandai Namco dropped a bomb (I think it’s a big deal, anyway) by announcing the first localized Taiko no Tatsujin game since the PlayStation 2. It’s even a pair of games, with distinct track lists depending on what platform you’re on. Speaking of tracklists, Bandai Namco announced the full tracklists of both games.

On PlayStation 4, Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! features a tiny bit of overlap with the Nintendo Switch game, Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun , but each mostly comprise exclusive songs, including tracks from various anime, Japanese pop music, original compositions from Bandai Namco, and more.

We’ve got music from recent anime, like Dragon Ball Super and Attack on Titan , and classics, such as Neon Genesis Evangelion and My Neighbor Totoro . Disney fans will find a couple of songs from Frozen and Zootopia , and there’s even “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen,” for all you despicable meme-lovers out there. In the past, games like these have often have their tracklists replaced with goofy covers of American pop music when localized, or they just aren’t localized at all due to licensing issues.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session ! and Drum ‘n’ Fun are set to release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch respectively on November 2, 2018.
