Cuphead Has Gone Triple Platinum

Cuphead Has Gone Triple Platinum

Cuphead developer Studio MDHR has just announced a new milestone for what was once the ultimate video game underdog. Cuphead has only been available since September 2017, but it has already sold three million copies. Thus, Cuphead is the rare game of its size that can be considered triple platinum.

In celebration, Studio MDHR has listed Cuphead on sale for both Steam and Xbox One. It’s currently $15.99, or four bucks off. Not bad, considering the game is already pretty affordable to begin with.

Studio MDHR also says it’s going to continue celebrating with giveaways, so keep an eye on the Facebook and Twitter feeds if you’re a Cuphead fan. There might be some merch or something in it for you.

Cuphead ’s journey is far from over, of course. Back at E3 2018, DLC for the game was announced. It is titled The Delicious Last Course. Among other things, a new playable character named Ms. Chalice will be available. This is set to arrive in 2019.
