Here’s How Long Marvel’s Spider-Man Is

We’re super close to Marvel’s Spider-Man launching for the PlayStation 4, and fans are hungrier than ever for the tiniest of details about the game. Thanks to a bunch of social media pestering, Insomniac community lead James Stevenson has tossed a few tidbits out here and there. Thanks to him we have a rough idea of how long the main story is, how big the game file is, and even a hint at a day one patch.

Stevenson can’t give an approximate number of how long Marvel’s Spider-Man is of course, because that’s not how video games work. People take different times based on how they play. But he did say that on average, play testers got t through the main story content in about 20 hours on the default difficulty.

Finally, he confirmed a day one patch, and the combined total between the base game and the update will land at somewhere over 45 GB. So make sure to free up some hard drive space before the game launches on September 7, 2018. If you’re curious about what’s in the day one update, more details will come soon, but Stevenson did say Marvel’s Spider-Man will get some additional accessibility options as part of it.
