Capcom Announces Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo

Capcom Announces Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo

Fans have been eager to get their hands on Resident Evil 2 , especially since it releases later in January 2019. After tons of rumor and speculation, it looks like Capcom is finally ready to drop a demo for the highly-anticipated horror remake. It even seems like it will be similar to the exciting demo on display at E3 2018, if not the same. There’s a pretty big catch, though. You get, well, one shot.

On January 11, 2019, Capcom will release the Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo for the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC. This demo will be all about Leon S. Kennedy reporting for duty on his first day as a Raccoon City police officer, and we all know how well that goes. It’s a time-limited demo, that gives the player about half an hour to get through the R.P.D. environment, fighting some zombies and solving some puzzles along the way.

But once that half hour is over, that’s it. You’re done. You can play as much as you like, even if you can beat it fast, but once that half hour is over, you can’t try again. Once the demo is over, beaten or otherwise, you’ll get to watch a new trailer.
