This one’s a little surprising. CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 remains one of the most highly anticipated AAA video games in existence or otherwise. 2018 was an especially big year for the game, as it was finally fully blasted out to the press and public. Yet, just as the hype train is truly starting to roll, it appears that the game’s creative director is no longer with the company.
All we have on this for now is the LinkedIn change, as nobody has commented otherwise in official capacity. Could this be a part of rumored pressure on Blizzard to produce more content? There’s no way to know for sure.
Still, we will have to see the sort of effect this could have on both companies. Perhaps this could have to do with other personnel changes at Blizzard. After all, the CFO Spencer Neumann recently left to go to Netflix .
