Capcom Releases Massive Music Library on Spotify

Video game music has had a low key presence on Spotify for a long time, but as far as the selection goes, you’re generally stuck with western AAA games. Fans of Japanese video game soundtracks have been able to access a lot of Sega music for a while and some Capcom content. In February 2019, Capcom expanded its offerings by a significant factor, with tons of new album drops featuring the likes of Mega Man , Street Fighter , Devil May Cry , and more.

All you need to do is boot up your Spotify platform of choice and search for “Capcom Sound Team.” That artist should link you to everything available in your region, which includes plenty of interesting arrangement albums and official game soundtracks. Unfortunately, some of the music is region-locked, so users in the United States for example are missing out on a lot of Resident Evil albums for some reason. Perhaps more albums will come over time, but for now I’m really digging the Rockman Utopia and Dystopia albums.
