New LEGO Star Wars Game Won’t Have Spin-off Movie DLC

New LEGO Star Wars Game Won’t Have Spin-off Movie DLC

2020 is going to be a big year for what could be the ultimate LEGO Star Wars game. That’s when Traveler’s Tales will bring LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga to the PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One and PC. But, the company also confirmed it won’t be bringing two other things to the game. That’s DLC based on the spin-offs or microtransactions.

Both of these details were confirmed in a Screenrant interview with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Designer Mike Consalvey. Consalvey noted that this compilation is only focusing on the adventures of Episodes I through IX. He said, “But when it comes to Rogue One and Solo , they’re sort of Star Wars Stories, so they’re completely separate in that regard to what The Skywalker Saga represents.” He then confirmed that TT Games is going to do its best to make sure the nine movies cover in the game are done to the best of their abilities.

The concept of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga microtransactions came up when discussing the new kind of bricks. There will be LEGO Studs, as usual, which are used to get characters or items. Kyber Bricks will be a Gold Brick style collectible to acquire customization level options and improve vehicles. Consalvey said no real money would be used to purchase characters and everything is earned by playing.

People will get to go through every major Star Wars movie in Lego form again in 2020. That’s when LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will retell every movie’s escapades in a very interactive and blocky way.
