MLB the Show 20 Will Step Up to Bat Next March

Surprise! Sony’s illustrious baseball sim is going to get another entry. Was there ever any doubt? On March 17, 2020, people will be able to pick up MLB the Show 20 for the PlayStation 4. All you will have to do is keep an eye out for the box that has Javier “El Mago” Baez, from the Chicago Cubs, on the cover. He’ll be the cover athlete for the next installment.

Sony is kicking off the hype train early for MLB the Show 20 by already announcing its preorder incentives and various special editions. The PlayStation Store is the best place to put in an order. If you go for a digital preorder, you get a Gold Choice Pack, a Javy Baez Flashback DD card for MLB the Show 19 , and 5,000 Stubs. GameStop and EB Games also have a pretty nice offer, as you get a Gear-Up Pack and a Gold Choice Pack for ordering from there. Everywhere else will only offer a Gold Choice Pack.

People will have multiple options when picking up MLB the Show 20 . The base game will be $59.99 and come with one Gold Choice Pack. If someone spends $79.99, they get the MVP Edition. It gives someone early access to the game on March 13, 2019, a Steelbook case, Double Dailies, one Diamond Variety Pack, two Gold Choice Packs, ten The Show Packs, 30 Team Avatars, and 10,000 Stubs.

Major fans have two $99.99 options too, with each one also including that four days of early access to the title. The MLB the Show 20 Digital Deluxe Edition comes with the game and Double Dailies, two Diamond Variety Packs, five Gold Choice Packs, 20 The Show Packs, 30 Team Avatars, and 25,000 Stubs. The MLB the Show 20 Anniversary Edition is even better, as it includes the Steelbook, a New Era 9Fifty baseball cap, Double Dailies, a Diamond Dynasty New Era 9Fifty in-game hat, a Diamond Variety Pack, two Gold Choice Packs, 20 The Show Packs, 30 Team Avatars, and 25,000 Stubs. Basically, both of these come with a lot more DLC.
