Warner Bros Keeps Teasing Its New Batman Game

Warner Bros Keeps Teasing Its New Batman Game

Even more evidence has come up of a new Batman game in development at Warner Bros. Montreal. This time, the developer took to Facebook , Instagram , and Twitter for its latest tease. When combined, the images form the insignia above. They also all share the same quote, “Cape sur la nuit / Capture the Knight.”

Once again, this is a reference to a possible new Batman game. Specifically, it seems to be calling out and referencing The Court of Owls. This is an organization that specifically was determined to catch and tear down Batman, using its Talon assassins to hunt him. Its members can be masked humans or people who have owl-like elements to them.

There are some notable elements to this insignia. One is a city skyline above the shield. This could be a reference to Gotham City. The shield itself has two talons on it, with wings on top, referencing birds and owls. However, the overall look of the emblem is that of a police officer’s badge. this would also make sense, as many members are Gotham’s elite and could use their influence against Batman.

These new Batman game teases have been showing up since January 2019. Most notably, some new teases came up on the series’ 80th anniversary . Two video clips shared references to The Court of Owls. One of them even shared more white symbols on black backgrounds, like the newly shared image above.

Hopefully more news will be shared ahead of E3 2020.
