WWE Battlegrounds Announced, Last of Us Gets New Release

WWE 2K Battlegrounds Announced for 2020 (via press release)

WWE 2K21 was effectively cancelled this year, as 2K is responding to last year’s feedback by extending the next game’s production time past the usual fiscal period. However, that doesn’t mean we won’t see any digital wrestling. Saber Interactive is bringing us WWE 2K Battlegrounds , a campier take on the modern wrestling game.

Lizzo Song Temporarily Pulled from Rock Band ( via Twitter )

Rock Band 4 is still trucking along, doing its Rock Band thing. But this week saw some controversy, as the music game’s usual censorship scrubbing missed a spot. A really bad spot to miss, too. Lizzo’s “Juice” was added to Rock Band 4 , and removed because the n-word was accidentally required as a scoring element. Usually any frowned-upon words are rubbed out, but somehow this one got through. The song will be updated and patched for free, of course.

The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima Have Release Dates ( via PS Blog)

The Last of Us Part II came out this week; sort of. Rumors of a disgruntled employee acting on a payment dispute have led to a massive leak for Naughty Dog’s sequel, which happened right as Sony was ready to announce a new release date. That date is June 19, 2020. Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima will also be launching on July 17, 2020. The Last of Us Part II was delayed indefinitely due to the pandemic-related logistical issues, but that luckily wasn’t the longer end of indefinite.
